As the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.” And sadly this week that saying has been true for our KinoSol team. We are saying farewell to Rebecca, a long time KinoSol employee. So please join us in thanking her and wishing her luck in the next endeavor!
Rebecca began working with KinoSol in February 2017. She started by running KinoSol’s social media and marketing. From there, Rebecca has spread out to do odds and ends throughout the entire business. From sales, operations management, photography, and even trip planning, Rebecca has done it all. While working here, she has had a positive impact on our company and our business. KinoSol is so thankful for the time she has spent here.
One of Rebecca’s favorite memories from KinoSol was traveling to Phoenix in 2017. While she was down there, she completed dehydrator testing before KinoSol launched our new injection molds. She enjoyed playing engineer for the week and learning on the spot innovation.
Working at KinoSol has shaped Rebecca’s view of business, social entrepreneurship, and her career development. She has loved working for the company and says it is a bittersweet experience to leave it all behind.
Speaking of bittersweet, or should I say super sweet, Rebecca has been phasing out this fall in pursuit of starting her company, Bessie’s Parlor. This soon to be ice cream shop will be located in Ames, IA. We are pumped to support our fellow entrepreneurs and very excited to eat all of the ice cream! You can follow her journey on Facebook or Instagram under the handle BessiesParlor!
It’s true that all good things must come to an end, but sometimes there are better things to come (like ice cream!) Thanks for joining us in our farewell tour for Rebecca. Don’t forget to tune in next week to learn about our latest trip to Uganda!
